Jon and Sara extend a very warm welcome to Rose Court Holiday Apartments, a Victorian villa with 8 holiday apartments, located in Babbacombe, Torquay, ideal for couples and families looking for a comfortable and clean seaside escape.

Jons’ background is in retail management and also owns successful cleaning companies in the New Forest, ensuring that together we maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and customer service for our guests.

Sara having grown up in her parents guest houses and hotels in Cornwall has over 30 years experience in hospitality and tourism, in the UK, USA, Bermuda and on Cruise Ships.

We take pride in having a highly professional team dedicated in delivering outstanding service and ensuring that every guest experience is delightfully memorable.

Further Information

The accommodation shall be used only by the persons listed on the Booking Form. More persons may be added by prior arrangement, providing the capacity of the apartment is not exceeded.

All apartments and the whole building are NON SMOKING.

Pets are allowed on request.

The person making the booking must be 21 years old or over.

Cancellations & Refunds

In the event of a cancellation, the hirer will be responsible for the balance of payment due unless the accommodation is re-let. Booking Deposits are non-returnable. Insurance is available to cover cancellation and details can be provided on request.

The hirer will be held responsible for the contents of the apartment. Any breakages, loss or damage to the apartment or premises, its fixtures or contents, must be reported immediately and we reserve the right to charge for the cost of repair or replacement.

All-female or all-male (“stag” or “hen”) parties are not accepted.

Non refundable, deposit of 25% with the booking form, balance payable on arrival. A booking is completed when you return our booking form and receive our confirmation.

Terms are weekly – Saturday-to-Saturday other than out of season mini-breaks.

Special offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

ARRIVAL: Apartments will be available from 4.00pm. If you arrive earlier, please feel free to leave your car in the car park, subject to space. (Also if the apartment is ready, we will happily show you in before 4.00pm.

DEPARTURE: Apartments to be vacated by 9.30 a.m. on the day of departure.

We expect our visitors to leave the apartment tidy with the cooker clean and rubbish bins emptied. In the unlikely event of liquids etc being spilt on carpets, beds or furniture, please let us know at once so we can take action to prevent permanent staining. Please don’t leave it to the end of your stay when such stains may be untreatable.

Terms include all bed linen and duvets, tea towel, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils.

In the interest of safety and for the benefit of all, children must not play in halls and on the staircases. Also, ensure that there is no unreasonable amount of noise from within the apartments at any time.

The apartments are all-electric and electricity is provided by a £1 meter. All apartments are separately metered so you only pay for the electricity you use.

The proprietors shall not be liable to any person for any personal injury, or loss of, or damage to property, however, caused or sustained.

At Rose Court Holiday Apartments we aim to offer high levels of hospitality to all our guests, regardless of any permanent or temporary disability, medical condition or other specific requirement. This Access Statement is designed to give you the information you need to assess how effectively we can meet your particular needs.

PRIOR TO ARRIVAL

Reservations can be made by telephone, email or online.

Rose Court is located approximately 0.5 miles from Torquay railway and 1 mile from bus stations. We can easily arrange a taxi for you on request. Wheelchair-suitable vehicles are available if necessary. Directions to Rose Court can be found on the website.

ARRIVAL

The approach to the property is via a large carpark with parking​ for all apartments which are adjacent to the front entrance with a level entrance to Rose Court. Assistance with luggage is always available, and this can be collected from/delivered to your car if required.

ACCOMMODATION

Guest entry to the building is through double vestibule doors and up one step through double doors into the main hall.

All apartment entry doors are fitted with Door Closures to conform with the requirements of the mains wired central Fire & Smoke Alarm System which is fitted. There is emergency lighting and on all floors, stairways and corridors'.

The entire building is non-smoking.

Rose Court has 4 apartments on the ground floor which are spacious and 3 have step in showers and one has a bath with shower attachment; these apartments may be suitable for guests with limited mobility; however you must be able to step into the shower or bath.

We are more than happy to discuss your particular requirements. Being an older building, apartments vary in terms of shape and size. However, many will be suitable for guests with minor disabilities so do please feel free to call us so we can assist you.

GARDEN

Access to the residents lawned garden is via the car park and is on the level.

GENERAL

All information such as apartment facilities and tariffs can be printed in larger fonts if so required. Service dogs are accepted at Rose Court by prior arrangement.

We have tried to be accurate and as comprehensive as possible in the preparation of this Access Statement. We are more than happy to assist in any way possible to ensure that you have a very enjoyable stay at The Rose Court Holiday Apartments.

Brief summary

Rose Court Apartments keep details of our customers, their names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses on a manual system. We also keep their contact details (name and addresses) on a secure password-protected computer for the purposes of sending Christmas cards and, potentially, marketing material relating solely to Rose Court Apartments. We would never give contact details (either manually or electronically) to any third parties except with our customers’ express permission or unless legally required to do so.

We do not keep bank accounts or credit card details of our customers on any computer or electronic machine. When card payments are made, the paper “merchant copy” is kept securely and shredded as soon as receipt of payment is credited to our bank account. If payment is made over the phone, the “cardholder copy” is posted to the cardholder or immediately shredded if not required.

Since we do not take direct bookings via the internet, we do not require customers to provide any confidential data above that outlined in paragraph 1 above.
